Oral presentations guidelines

For oral presentations, please follow the guidelines:

  • All presentations will last 20 minutes, including 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes questions.
  • Please be online 10 minutes before the beginning of your session, and for all the duration of the session in order to answer questions
  • Use the conference template to prepare your presentation

Poster presentations guidelines

Due to the virtual nature of the conference we are only accepting Electronic Posters in PDF format. Printed posters or photographs of printed posters will NOT be accepted.

  • Use the poster template to prepare your poster
  • Submit it before October 14th in pdf to lucile.mendoza@humanist-vce.eu
  • Each poster is planned in the programm to have a 5-minutes pitch on October 19th, during the "Poster session & pitches" from 10.40 to 11.15.

The International Conference on Driver Distraction and Inattention is the premiere international event on this topic, attracting delegates from more than 20 countries. It is designed to bring participants – from academia, industry and government – up-to-date on current and recent developments and trends in the field of inattention and distraction in driving.

The Scientific Committee welcomes abstracts for presentations, papers or posters from all stakeholder groups (researchers, designers, engineers, policy makers, transport companies, etc.), from all modes of transport (land, air and sea) and from any relevant discipline including, but not limited to, human factors, ergonomics, psychology, neuroscience, medicine, epidemiology, engineering and technology, law and politics, etc.

Abstracts shall be 2-3 pages (1000-1500 words) in length. All abstracts will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the conference.

Authors will choose to present a poster, give an oral presentation only or present (oral or poster) and develop the abstract into a full paper.

The full paper will be published either in the DDI proceedings or in a journal, taking into account author wishes and review consideration. All papers for DDI proceedings will be peer-reviewed by the Scientific Committee of the conference.
